The Scinomix VXi

A bulk tube feeder that pairs with the Scinomix tube labellers

The Scinomix VXi is a bulk tube-feeding system that automatically carries tubes into the Sci-Print VX2 and Sci-Print VXL tube labellers. It is the ultimate addon to the Scinomix tube labelling systems. Thanks to the Scinomix VXi there is no need to pre-fill the racks with tubes, your team just needs the empty racks and the (pre-capped) tubes. The VXi then conveys the tubes into the tube labellers, the tube labellers will then label the tubes and sort them in the racks.

The VXi bulk feeder offers even more valuable walk-away time, making the workflow even more productive. By using optical sensors to determine the orientation of each tube, the VXi expedites the labelling and racking process.

Compatible with different sizes tubes

And with or without cap on the tube

The VXi is compatible with a broad range of tube sizes, ranging in diameter from 8mm to 28mm. The build-in orientation technology will orientate every tube to go in the same direction and ensure the tube labeller’s gripper can easily grab the tubes.

With the VXi you no longer need to worry about what tubes go into the labelling system. That is because the VXi works with pre-capped internal threaded and external treaded tubes, but also works perfectly fine with tubes that have no cap. This means you can now buy tubes in bulk-packaging without the need to spend a lot of money on having them pre-capped by the supplier. With the VXi you are in control.

The Scinomix VXi holds and processes lots of tubes

And is expandable to hold even more

High throughput
Expandable hopper

When combined with the Sci-print VX2 or the Sci-Print VXL labelling systems, the Scinomix VXi Bulk feeder allows the end-users to process a lot of sample tubes in a very short amount of time. With a throughput of 400 tubes per hour, the VXi is not only really fast, but also has a great return on investment.

The hopper of the VXi can hold roughly around 600 tubes, depending on the size of the tubes. But there is also a hopper extension available, which allows you to load even more tubes in the Scinomix VXi. The only thing the user has to do is load the hoppers, press the button and the machine takes over from here.

The Scinomix VXi satisfies your laboratory co-workers by being easy to use

And has a great Return On Investment

User Friendly
Great ROI

Not only is the Scinomix VXi together with one of the tube labellers easy to set up, but the user-friendly interface allows the colleagues in the lab to operate it without having to learn a complicated machine first.

Having a VXi combined with a Scinomix Tube Labelling system offers a great Return On Investment, because the fully automated and high throughput tube labelling system offer a ton of extra time that can be spend on important research projects.

A setup where you have the VXi seamlessly interacting with the tube labeller, also allows for a more ergonomic solution. You or your colleagues no longer have to manually label, decap and recap your tubes. Mundane tasks that were otherwise prone to ergonomic injuries are now a thing of the past.
